Today we honor the second place winner of our Book Cover Contest. She expertly used colored pencil and shading to create the urban Afghan landscape of A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Our second place honor goes to Joanna Zou of Columbia. We also wanted to let you know that the library provides free online classes in art instruction through a new service called UniversalClass.
