As part of our “Own the Night” Teen Summer Reading Program, the library invited area young adults to submit their own original nighttime-inspired photographs. Contestants captured images of colorful sunsets, bursts of fireworks, and plenty of starlight. The library received a total of 22 entries and today we would like to showcase the artwork of all our creative teen participants, as well as the stories that inspired their photographs. Tomorrow, we will announced the winner of the “People’s Choice” award.
